PROJECT OVERVIEW

During my last role at Amazon, I oversaw the visual design, illustration and marketing for Meridian Design System while also acting as individual contributor for the entire system. I inherited the early foundation of the brand and worked to refine the logo, newsletter design, as well as, the illustration system that was used by our community. Below are examples of our brand, illustration system as well as more in-depth user experience project I underwent while I spent 18 months on the team.

Data Visualization

As the lead visual designer for Meridian, I guided the team from concept through delivery. The following data visualization project highlights the process I underwent alongside engineering to create net-new components for our design system.

Meridian sends out two surveys each year as a mechanism to gauge our impact and efficiency and to highlight room for improvement. In our Q4 2019 survey, 75% of our customers identified Data Visualization as a need-to-have priority within our design system and we made it a team goal to release these tools in Q4 of 2020.
